Working Hours:-

The nursing college functions from 9.15 am to 4.30 pm during theory hours and in clinical hours from 8.00 am to 4.pm with a lunch break between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm for students and office functions from 8.45 am to 5.30 pm.

Discipline:-

Every student must follow rules and regulations of the college properly. Students should be neat and smartly dressed. All the students must wear identity cards during their class hours.

• Latecomers are not encouraged.
• Students must follow the uniform decorum properly during their clinical posting.
• Students are not permitted to use cell phones in college, hospital, and also in hostel premises.
• Spitting and Smoking are strictly prohibited inside the college campus.
• As per the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Students are not allowed to take leave unnecessarily, exception in the case of emergency. In that situation, they must inform the college by phone.
• Students are expected to attend the prayer regularly.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited by an act promulgated by the government of Tamilnadu with a penalty and imprisonment. If any students are involving such type of activities in the hostel or college, he/she will summarily be suspended from the college.
• Students are advised to wear helmets during riding.

Attendance:-

A Bio-Metric system of attendance has been implemented to regularize the attendance effectively.

• Attendance will be taken every hour and for necessary leave, students should get prior permission from the Principal and the permission will be granted only for reasons with unavoidable circumstances. PG and UG candidates have required a minimum of 90% attendance in theory and 100% attendance in practical separately in each subject, before admission to the examinations.
• If a candidate lacks in the prescribed attendance and progress in any one subject in theory and practical in the first appearance, shall not be permitted for the entire examinations.
• A candidate must have 100% attendance in each of the practical areas before the award of a degree. There shall be no condonation for lack of attendance.
• Vacation for the UG students will be three weeks and No vacation for PG students. Preparatory holidays for one week.
